Laboratory Testing
Chelmer provide comprehensive laboratory testing to support geotechnical and environmental investigations. Our in house laboratory allows for detailed analysis of soil and material samples using recognised testing methods. All testing is carried out by experienced technicians using calibrated equipment, with results produced in line with current British Standards and project requirements.
CBR Testing
Chelmer offer CBR testing to assess ground strength and suitability for pavements and foundation design. Testing is carried out using proven methods to provide reliable data for engineers and contractors. Our in house facilities enable fast turnaround times, ensuring results are available promptly to support design decisions and construction programmes.
Plate Load Testing
Chelmer carry out plate load testing to determine the bearing capacity and settlement characteristics of ground conditions. This service provides essential data for foundation and pavement design across a wide range of sites. Testing is undertaken by qualified personnel, with results interpreted clearly and reported to support technical and regulatory requirements.
Variable Head Tests
Chelmer undertake variable head permeability testing to assess groundwater movement and soil permeability. This testing is commonly used to support drainage design, infiltration assessments and environmental studies. All works are completed using appropriate equipment and procedures, with results reported accurately to inform engineers, consultants and project stakeholders.
